What exactly does Vega Sky do?
End-to-end technology consultancy and delivery: data & analytics, cybersecurity, software & AI, networks, and the many specialisms that branch from them. We can carry a project from the first conversation to the running system: we advise, design, configure and manage ourselves, and where supply or installation is needed we bring in specialist suppliers and contractors and supervise them, so you keep one accountable partner throughout.
Do we get a written scope before the work starts?
Yes, and nothing is bought or installed before it exists. The design, the bill of materials and the plan are written down, priced and handed to you first, so you compare quotes against a specification rather than against a sales pitch. If the scope changes later it changes in writing, through a change request that states the cost and the effect on the date before anyone agrees to it.
How do you price?
We set the cost once we understand what you need and have assessed the scope of the work, which is why there is no price list on this site and no package to pick from. What you get instead is a tailored proposal: the services, the deliverables, the timeline, the cost and the contractual terms, in writing, before anything is agreed. Within that the shape varies. A single figure for a defined project. A stated monthly amount for a continuing role, such as data governance, a managed network or an advisory seat. A stated monthly amount for a consultant working inside your team. The proposal says which applies, and we do not work on an open-ended day rate.
How fast do you respond?
We review new enquiries and reply during business hours. We do not publish a guaranteed response time for an enquiry from the website, because that is a commitment that belongs in an agreement rather than on a marketing page. For clients on a retainer or managed-network agreement, response times are defined in the SLA by severity: the targets are stated in the agreement, not left to goodwill.
How do you handle our data during an engagement?
Under the confidentiality and data-processing terms of the engagement agreement, which set who may see what, how access is recorded, and what happens to it when the work ends. We ask for access in the name of a specific person rather than a shared login, and we give it back at handover. For classification work we prefer analysing data inside your environment rather than taking copies.
