Project Manager
Own delivery from confirmed scope to signed handover: websites and web applications, custom software, Microsoft 365, ERP and Odoo, cybersecurity, networks and IT infrastructure.
About the role
You own the successful delivery of Vega Sky technology projects from confirmed scope to handover. Projects may include websites and web applications, custom software, Microsoft 365, ERP and Odoo, cybersecurity, networks and IT infrastructure. You coordinate clients, consultants, engineers, developers and external suppliers; maintain a clear delivery plan; control scope, risks, dependencies and changes; and make sure every project finishes with tested deliverables, documentation and formal acceptance.
Key responsibilities
- Convert approved proposals and requirements into practical project plans, milestones and assigned tasks.
- Define deliverables, dependencies, responsibilities, acceptance criteria and communication routines.
- Coordinate developers, engineers, consultants, clients and third-party suppliers.
- Track scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues and change requests.
- Lead project kick-off meetings, progress reviews, demonstrations, user acceptance testing and handover.
- Identify delays and risks early and present clear recovery options.
- Maintain project documentation, meeting decisions, action registers and status reports.
- Ensure technical work is reviewed and tested before it is presented to the client.
- Keep stakeholders informed without hiding problems or making unrealistic commitments.
- Support the transition from project delivery into managed support or ongoing maintenance.
Required qualifications
- Minimum three years of experience managing IT, software or digital-transformation projects.
- Demonstrated experience delivering multiple projects with cross-functional technical teams.
- Practical understanding of websites, software development, Microsoft 365, ERP systems, cybersecurity, networks or IT infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, risk management, change control, user acceptance testing and handover.
- Comfortable with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery, chosen to suit the project.
- Strong client communication, organisation, documentation and problem-solving skills.
- Professional written and spoken English.
- Able to work with technical specialists without pretending to replace their technical judgement.
Preferred experience
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum or a similar certification: preferred, not mandatory.
- Experience delivering projects in the UAE.
- Arabic language skills.
- A valid UAE driving licence.
